Job Description:
Location: Juno Beach, Florida (Onsite)
This position supports the development, quantification, and costing of capital expenditure (CapEx) models for project evaluation. The role involves providing technical guidance and market pricing research under supervision. The objective is to assist in creating complete and accurate capital estimates while gaining familiarity with industry best practices.
- Support the preparation of capital cost estimates.
- Review designs and specifications for cost-effectiveness and suggest alternatives.
- Assist in market pricing research to inform estimates.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure project objectives are understood.
- Remain current with technology and industry evolution.
- Help establish, build, and implement metrics for cost and construction estimate checks.
- Gain familiarity with project estimating methodologies, construction cost metrics, and estimating software.
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience is preferred.
Experience: Experience in assisting with the development, quantification, and costing of CapEx models is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Word is required.
- A Six Sigma Certification (Yellow Belt or higher) for process optimization is preferred.
Driving will be required as part of this position's duties. A valid, non-restricted driver's license is necessary. The candidate's driving record must not have any alcohol or drug-related driving offenses within the previous five years, and the license cannot be currently suspended or restricted. Per Diem and mobilization/demobilization expenses are available for this assignment.
