Technical Program Product Manager II

Location: Seattle, Washington (Onsite)

Duration: 9 months

 

Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to help build and maintain the largest network in the world. This role involves leading complex, multi-disciplinary networking projects and offers the opportunity to shape and deliver new methods for deploying technology solutions at scale. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure changes and upgrades across global data centers.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor network infrastructure builds, track customer demand, anticipate risks, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including network engineers, technical program managers, and senior management, to define requirements and processes.
  • Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects, negotiating trade-offs as needed.
  • Oversee multiple competing cross-organizational projects and programs simultaneously.
  • Interact daily with engineers, technicians, project managers, and senior management.
  • Analyze, interpret, and visualize data using tools such as Redshift, Oracle, Tableau, and QuickSight.
  • Drive automation initiatives and simplification efforts in engineering and project management to facilitate innovation.
  • Participate in the hiring process and mentor other team members.
Required Qualifications

Education: A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

 

Experience: 5+ years of technical infrastructure management experience and 5+ years of data center, network engineering, and/or systems engineering experience.

 

Technical Skills: Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software) and experience with various infrastructure build scenarios.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, networks, and operating systems.
  • Experience in managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience in hands-on work managing complex technology projects.
