Job Description:
Location: Hybrid 3 Days Onsite - Charlotte, NC, or Dallas, TX, or Minneapolis, MN
We are seeking a Systems Architect to contribute to the development of a unified enterprise data governance platform. This platform is designed to document, govern, and manage data across the enterprise to meet regulatory and compliance requirements. The role involves connecting and onboarding various data sources to collect metadata, data lineage, and perform data quality checks, as well as building custom integrations with third-party systems.
- Take full-stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code.
- Utilize programming languages such as Java and Python to build custom services and integrations.
- Develop Microservices and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using technologies like Kubernetes.
- Connect to and capture metadata and data lineage from various RDBMS and ETL technologies.
- Implement and perform data quality checks using Apache Spark.
- Work with data governance technologies such as Collibra, Databricks Unity Catalog, and Purview.
- Build scalable and resilient applications in private or public cloud environments like Azure or AWS.
- Adhere to agile software development lifecycle and DevSecOps principles.
- Communicate processes and results with team members, including engineers, product owners, and scrum masters.
Experience:
- 6+ years with Java
- 6+ years with Microservices
- 5+ years with Python
- 5+ years with Spark
- 5+ years with SQL/NoSQL
- 5+ years with Data Governance (Collibra, Unity Catalog, or Purview)
- 5+ years with Kubernetes
- 5+ years with CI/CD
- Experience in the finance industry.
