Pay rate: $60-70 /hr
We are seeking a Power Apps Developer to join a team supporting a Federal Government customer. This role involves developing PowerApps canvas and model-driven apps, building enterprise-level mobile solutions, and re-engineering legacy applications. The selected individual can work remotely throughout the continental U.S., with preference given to local candidates and those in the East Coast time zone.
- Develop PowerApps canvas and model-driven apps.
- Build enterprise-level mobile solutions, utilizing best practices within the Power Platform Community.
- Use multiple OOTB Connectors with PowerApps and Flow, and create custom connectors.
- Re-write and re-engineer custom legacy applications to PowerApps solutions.
- Interpret and design database models such as MYSQL and SQL Server.
- Address and remediate security vulnerability findings in PowerApps.
- Integrate Power BI Reports and dashboards into PowerApps.
- Satisfy requirements, meet agreed completion dates, and perform unit and integration testing.
- Communicate proposed designs and progress to customers, team leads, and team members.
- Support cross-functional project teams consisting of app development, IT operations, and information security.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive, related experience. This includes 3-5 years of experience with Development in Dynamics 365, developing canvas and model-driven PowerApps, creating Forms and Flows that move data to AzureDevOps, and working with Common Data Service.
Technical Skills:
- Experience developing solutions that span multiple Office365 services (e.g., SharePoint, Outlook, Graph API, OneDrive).
- Experience with PowerApps integration with Azure API Apps, Azure Logic apps, Azure Functions, and REST services.
- Experience migrating business processes from InfoPath forms and SharePoint Designer workflows to PowerApps and Flow.
- Knowledge of PowerApps formulas, development methods, and licensing plans.
- Understanding of how to implement solutions with multiple data sources and configure data gateways.
- Proficient in working with Agile project methodologies.
Citizenship Requirement: Candidates must be US Citizens. Candidates must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in the last 5 years and must have resided in the US for the last 5 years.
- SQL experience is desired.
- Training and/or certification for PowerApps Professional or PowerApps Developer.
- Training and/or certification for Microsoft Flow.
