Technical Product Manager – Mobile Applications

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid)

 
Role Overview

We are seeking a Mobile Engineering Product Manager to drive product development, adoption, and expansion for products within the Mobile Application development space. This role involves developing a product vision through user research and serving as a subject matter expert on mobile applications, including their frameworks and technical aspects. The position requires a deep understanding of Copilot and Prompt Engineering.

 
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and articulate a clear vision for the product based on user research and business partner feedback.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for all aspects of mobile application products, including technical details and underlying data.
  • Drive product development, adoption, and expansion across various business lines.
  • Lead and manage a team to deliver new functionality and products on schedule.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities and delegating tasks effectively.
  • Communicate effectively across different levels of the organization.
Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education is required.

 

Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical product owner or business analyst role within a project-based environment is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience leading people and delivering products is also necessary. Previous success working in a dynamic environment and proficiency in managing multiple projects is expected.

 

Technical Skills: A strong understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies is required, with working experience in tools like Jira. Candidates must be fluent in technology with a strong knowledge of project and software development methodologies. A deep understanding of Copilot & Prompt Engineering is mandatory.

 

Professional Skills: The role requires strong presentation, facilitation, interview, and workshop skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-management abilities are essential for success.

  • Experience with UI/UX design and in the Fintech industry.
  • Experience working directly with technology teams on Agile software development.
  • A strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A business-centric mindset with the ability to use sound judgment to drive optimal outcomes.
  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with cross-functional business areas.
  • Experience presenting complex information to multiple organizational levels.
