Digital Delivery Manager
Job#: 3042162
Job Description:
Digital Delivery Manager
Contract Duration: 6-Months
Location: Remote
Description:
The Digital Delivery Manager role provides delivery management support for Web Product teams by helping coordinate complex, cross-functional digital initiatives from intake through delivery. The role operates across Product Leads, Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, engineering, design, content, marketing operations and other partners to create visibility, manage dependencies, reduce execution risk and support predictable delivery.
This role is focused on orchestration, delivery governance, risk management, communication and operational readiness. It does not own product strategy, feature-level prioritization or day-to-day Agile facilitation; instead, it helps ensure teams are aligned, decisions are visible and blockers are addressed before they impact delivery timelines.
Role and responsibilities
- Lead and support multiple complex, cross-functional initiatives simultaneously from initiation through delivery, anticipating bottlenecks and helping remove external or cross-team obstacles.
- Coordinate across Product, Engineering, UX, Design, Content, Brand, Analytics, Compliance, Legal, Security, enterprise platform teams and other partners to ensure work is aligned and moving toward shared outcomes.
- Partner with Product Leads and Product Managers to translate product strategy into coordinated, executable program plans, integrated roadmaps, release calendars and dependency maps.
- Support feature and initiative prioritization by helping teams understand consumer value, critical deadlines, capacity constraints, dependencies, risks and delivery trade-offs.
- Maintain visibility into initiative, feature and program-level backlog health, confirming priority work is ready, sequenced and connected to goals, OKRs, KPIs or enterprise priorities as appropriate.
- Identify and manage cross-team dependencies, milestone risks and delivery blockers; maintain risk, issue and dependency tracking and escalate when decisions or support are needed.
- Create and maintain repeatable delivery mechanisms, status reporting templates, meeting cadences and execution tools that help teams communicate progress clearly and consistently.
- Provide concise program status updates to stakeholders and leaders, including milestone progress, risks, decisions needed, budget or vendor considerations and launch readiness.
- Coordinate operational and release readiness across teams, including launch planning, go/no-go participation, content or platform readiness, analytics or compliance handoffs and post-launch issue resolution.
- Support continuous improvement by partnering with Product teams and other key leads by documenting follow-up actions and helping ensure agreed process improvements are completed.
- Manage or support vendor and financial oversight when third parties are engaged, including budget awareness, resource planning, expense tracking and escalation of funding or capacity needs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and connective tissue across business, product, engineering and delivery teams, helping create clarity, reduce friction and improve delivery predictability.
Job scope and candidate characteristics:
- Strong delivery management mindset with the ability to operate horizontally across teams without relying on direct authority.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and resourceful, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, timelines and stakeholders at once.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and helping teams turn unclear, cross-functional work into structured plans, decisions and next steps.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex delivery topics into concise, leadership-ready updates.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust, resolve differences and encourage transparent communication across matrixed teams.
- Able to balance business needs, technical constraints, delivery realities and customer impact when helping teams make trade-offs.
- Comfortable participating in Agile ceremonies to understand progress, risks and blockers without taking over Scrum Master or Product Owner responsibilities.
- Proactive in identifying risks before they become issues and willing to escalate thoughtfully when decisions, resources or alignment are needed.
- Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset and looks for repeatable mechanisms that make delivery clearer, faster and more predictable over time.
- Collaborative, respectful and able to work effectively with remote or virtual teams.
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in delivery management, project management, digital product delivery, technology delivery or a related role.
- Experience coordinating complex initiatives across multiple teams, stakeholders, workstreams or business areas.
- Experience managing dependencies, risks, issues, milestones, delivery plans and stakeholder communications.
- Experience working in Agile product delivery environments.
- Ability to create clear program artifacts such as status reports, roadmaps, delivery plans, RAID logs, decision logs, dependency maps or launch readiness materials.
- Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills, especially in highly matrixed organizations.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting public-facing web, digital marketing, customer experience, mobile or enterprise platform initiatives.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), content management systems, digital analytics, SEO, accessibility, site performance or web platform governance.
- Experience with Aha, Rally, Workfront, Microsoft 365, Teams or other roadmap, delivery and collaboration tools.
- Experience coordinating vendor or agency work, including budget awareness, resource planning or statement-of-work execution.
- Ability to use data, metrics and delivery signals to communicate health, predictability, risk and trade-off recommendations.
- Prior experience in large corporate, health care, digital product or highly regulated environments.
