Location: Berkeley, Missouri (Remote)
Our organization is seeking Systems Engineers to support the development of next-generation aircraft. The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to the development of statements of work (SOW), managing changes, and providing technical leadership. This role may involve work on MQ-28 design documentation or the development of an autonomy reference architecture, depending on program needs.
- Support system architecture development and decomposition using MBSE (SysML/Cameo) to define interfaces, functions, and allocations.
- Maintain alignment within the program team and with suppliers and customers, identifying and resolving obstacles.
- Support the implementation of MBSE as part of the broader digital engineering ecosystem.
- Support the development and quality review of systems engineering deliverables in collaboration with other engineering teams.
- Provide technical, business, and integration leadership for program development and execution.
Education: A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science is required.
Experience: 5+ years of related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years with a Master’s degree. Experience in one of the following areas is necessary: planning and execution of verification or acceptance testing; decomposition of standards and development of certification plans; or development of deliverables requiring coordination across multiple engineering disciplines.
Technical Skills: Prior Systems Engineering experience is required, including system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation. Additionally, 3+ years of experience with MBSE, Cameo/MSOSA, and/or SysML is required.
- Experience developing or managing program baselines.
- Demonstrated experience developing system architectures for complex aerospace vehicles or subsystems using MBSE (SysML/MSOSA).
- Prior leadership experience in system architecture or lead systems engineering roles.
- Understanding of various engineering analyses, including affordability, safety, reliability, and maintainability.
- Background in systems engineering processes such as RIO and TPM management.
