Senior UX Researcher

Contract: 3-6 months
We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Researcher to cover research for third-party sellers and other business users. This researcher will independently own research projects from planning through execution, synthesis, and sharing results. The role requires someone who can work quickly, manage multiple priorities, and partner effectively with product managers and designers.
- Lead end-to-end UX research, including scoping, planning, recruitment criteria, study design, moderation, analysis, and readouts.
- Conduct moderated and unmoderated qualitative research.
- Lead generative and evaluative studies, including interviews, usability tests, concept testing, focus groups, and qualitative or directional surveys.
- Run rapid iterative studies, including RITE-style testing with quick synthesis and design updates between rounds.
- Translate stakeholder questions into clear research objectives and appropriate methods.
- Identify key patterns, usability issues, user needs, and product opportunities.
- Share concise, actionable findings with product, design, and leadership partners.
- Manage research timelines and adapt quickly as product priorities change.
- Experience independently leading UX research projects end to end.
- Strong qualitative moderation, analysis, and synthesis skills.
- Experience with both generative and evaluative research.
- Ability to conduct research quickly while maintaining methodological quality.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience partnering with product managers and designers.
- Ability to manage multiple studies or research requests with limited oversight.
- RITE or other rapid iterative research methods.
- Focus groups and qualitative or directional surveys.
- B2B, enterprise, marketplace, or operational products.
- Research with third-party sellers, small-business owners, suppliers, or other professional users.
- Experience with tools such as UserTesting, Qualtrics, Airtable, generative AI tools, Figma, PowerPoint, Excel, or Zoom/Microsoft Teams
