Location: Hazelwood, Missouri (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract
We are seeking an Experienced Software Developer to join our Manufacturing Quality Information Technology Team. A successful candidate will bring relevant and practical software engineering experience to support the full software life cycle. This position is responsible for the full stack development and maintenance of multiple existing Manufacturing Quality Enterprise applications.
- Stabilize and secure multiple applications through development, deployment, and maintenance of Java/Oracle systems and other technologies.
- Ensure system security compliance and remediate technical debt.
- Manage system changes and configurations, and provide production support across the enterprise to resolve software and infrastructure issues.
- Support regulatory compliance and quality audits.
- Continuously learn system functionality, business processes, and new technologies.
- Execute IT strategies and objectives related to Cloud migration, DevSecOps, Agile, and AI Software Engineering.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, deployment, maintenance, and support.
- 3+ years of experience in data integration development and maintenance.
- 3+ years of experience in a Linux/Unix environment.
- 3+ years of experience in Java.
- 3+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL.
- 1+ years of experience in an agile work environment.
- 1+ years of professional experience in AI Software Engineering & Automation.
Additional Requirements:
- This position requires a U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.
- Candidate must be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
- Experience working with WebSphere and Spring Boot.
- Experience with system integration toolsets and methodologies (e.g., ETL, Autosys, Pub/Sub, JSON, RESTful Web Services, Perl).
- Experience with common industry development tools such as Visual Studio, JetBrains Suite, Git, GitLab, Azure DevOps (ADO), and JIRA.
- Experience working with AppScan, Coverity Code Security Scans, and CyberArk.
This is a full-time, 12-month contract role. The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring the selected candidate to work onsite on certain days. Potential candidates must be willing to relocate prior to the contract start if out-of-state. The standard schedule is first shift.
