Job Description:
Location: Richmond, Virginia (Remote)
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Developer with a minimum of five years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will design and develop applications, scripts, and libraries for end-to-end automation solutions. The ideal candidate is an independent self-starter who can collaborate with a team of developers and QA personnel to define requirements, set timelines, and deliver high-quality features and improvements.
- Design and develop applications, scripts, and libraries for end-to-end automation solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and release new features.
- Work with the team to define requirements, set timelines, and prioritize tasks.
- Analyze and optimize performance bottlenecks and improve code efficiency.
- Participate in code and design reviews to ensure codebase quality and maintainability.
- Debug software defects and issues related to automation scripts and playbooks.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation scripts, playbooks, and procedures.
- Develop applications that support the deployment of network infrastructure.
Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in full-stack application development is required.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python is required.
- Experience with Terraform.
- Familiarity with containerization and writing applications within containers.
- Experience with AWS services, specifically Fargate.
- Familiarity with source code version control systems like GitLab.
- Experience with JavaScript.
- Experience with Ansible.
- Proficiency with front-end tools such as NodeJS, NextJS, or React.
- A portfolio showcasing GitLab history.
- Knowledge of networking protocols, distributed systems, or real-time systems.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
This is a remote position, but candidates are expected to work during Central Standard Time (CST) hours. You will work with a team of approximately 8-9 other developers.
This position requires United States citizenship.
