Job Description:

The Senior Analyst, Trading Systems Management plays a key role in supporting and evolving trading and order management systems across multiple asset classes. This position combines system expertise, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to ensure platforms operate efficiently, data is accurate and reliable, and business needs are effectively supported.


The role involves working closely with front, middle, and back office teams to understand requirements, resolve system and data issues, and deliver enhancements that improve workflows and user experience. The incumbent also contributes to the development of reporting and analytical capabilities, enabling better visibility into trading activity and operational performance.


Responsibilities include maintaining system configurations, ensuring data integrity, supporting daily operations, and participating in initiatives to enhance processes and system functionality. The role requires building strong relationships with internal partners and external vendors to ensure systems remain aligned with evolving business needs.


Key Responsibilities

•Manage and enhance trading and order management systems (e.g., ThinkFolio, Bloomberg AIM/PORT and related platforms) to ensure optimal functionality, performance, and user experience

•Serve as a central point of contact for system-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and supporting front, middle, and back office users across asset classes

•Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into system improvements, workflows, and data requirements, ensuring alignment with operational and strategic objectives

•Perform data extraction, validation, and analysis across multiple systems to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of trading and operational data

•Develop and maintain reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytical outputs to support decision-making, monitoring, and performance tracking

•Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation and improved data workflows using tools such as SQL, Python, Excel, or similar technologies

•Monitor system data flows and proactively resolve discrepancies by collaborating with technology teams, data providers, and operations partners

•Support system enhancements, upgrades, and project initiatives, including testing, implementation, and post-launch validation

•Maintain documentation of system processes, data definitions, and workflows to support transparency, audit requirements, and knowledge sharing

•Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure systems remain aligned with evolving business needs and industry standards

•Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives by leveraging data insights and identifying areas for increased efficiency and control


Must Have Requirement:

3–5+ years experience in data analytics, financial systems, or business analysis

Strong hands-on experience with:

•SQL, Python, Excel

•Data extraction, cleansing, and transformation (ETL)

Experience building dashboards and reports (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)

Strong understanding of data validation, quality control, and governance

Ability to translate business needs into data and technical requirements

Experience working with financial data, portfolios, or trading environments


Nice to Have:

Experience with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or trading platforms

Exposure to predictive modeling / advanced analytics / machine learning

Experience with automation (VBA, scripting, APIs)

Knowledge of asset management, portfolio analytics, or capital markets

Experience working in Agile / Jira environments
