IT Project Lead II

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota (Remote)

 

Role Overview

An experienced IT Project Lead II is sought to support a large-scale, global, regulatory-driven initiative. This role is central to coordinating project activities, managing reporting, tracking deliverables, and supporting execution across multiple regions and cross-functional teams. This position is suited for a project management professional who is organized, analytical, and proficient in a structured environment where data accuracy and communication are critical. The role involves driving execution, supporting leadership reporting, and providing coverage for the lead project manager when necessary.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project activities across multiple global teams and stakeholders.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and action items across multiple workstreams.
  • Prepare agendas, presentation materials, status updates, and leadership-ready reporting.
  • Generate recurring reports and dashboards for global teams and leadership.
  • Maintain accurate project tracking, KPIs, and status updates across multiple data sources.
  • Support internal systems and processes used to track regulatory and project-related data.
  • Follow up on ad hoc requests, open items, and ongoing project needs.
  • Assist with project communications, including change notifications, updates, and internal newsletters.
  • Serve as backup support for the lead project manager during key meetings or deliverables.
  • Ensure project data is complete, accurate, and clearly communicated to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in project management, program coordination, operations, supply chain, regulatory support, product commercialization, quality, or a related field.
  • OR High School Diploma / GED and 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or leading cross-functional projects.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with reporting and presentation tools.

 

Professional Skills:

  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive follow-up action.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting and dashboard tools.
  • Experience in a regulated environment.
  • Exposure to project tracking systems used for compliance, licensing, or regulatory documentation.
  • Understanding of supply chain or end-to-end operational processes.
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
Work Environment

This is a global role supporting teams across North America, EMEA, LATAM, and Asia. Candidates must be comfortable working in a global environment and supporting teams across time zones. Meetings may periodically occur outside of standard business hours to accommodate global teams. Flexibility is important, and work schedules may shift accordingly based on business needs.
