Role Overview

This position is for Systems Engineers to support the verification and validation of complex systems. The role involves ensuring that systems verification testing meets success criteria by reviewing requirements, verification criteria, and test directives. The work includes developing data analysis plans and ensuring the test philosophy aligns with customer requirements within the Executive Transport group and other key defense platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, decompose, and allocate system requirements.
  • Perform system logical and functional decomposition and analysis.
  • Conduct system architecture, design, and synthesis.
  • Manage system verification and validation of requirements.
  • Support FAA and Military Certification processes.
  • Oversee system analysis and project engineering, including managing Technical Performance Measures, risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Lead and support cross-functional teams, working groups, and program meetings.
  • Develop and deliver systems engineering products such as architecture models, requirements databases, and specifications.
  • Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering tools like CAMEO, Rhapsody, and DOORS.
  • Mentor and coach team members on engineering processes and quality standards.
Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry is required.

 

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience is required.

 

Technical Skills: Experience in System Architecture Development and Modeling tools (e.g., CAMEO/MSOSA, Rhapsody), Requirements Management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS), and verification and validation of requirements is required. This position requires status as a U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of related work experience.
  • Experience in ICD development, logical architecture, and specification development.
  • Experience with risk, issue, and opportunity management.
  • Experience in project engineering and executing system design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
  • Experience in systems integration and test, including lab integration, ground test, and flight test.
  • Experience in Airworthiness and Certification (FAA, EASA, Military).
  • INCOSE Certification.
  • Domain knowledge in areas such as MIL Radio, Mission Systems, Networking, Cabin Systems, IFE, LAIRCM, RWR, CMDS, avionics interfaces (ARINC 429), or MIL-STD 1553.
