Business/Systems Analyst

Location: Maryland Heights, MO (Hybrid)

 
Role Overview

This Business Systems Analyst role is responsible for the ownership and governance of the corporate CMDB, administration of the enterprise compliance program, and the development of automation solutions through scripting, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. The position supports dashboard creation, reporting, process automation, and self-service tool development for workflows that feed into the CMDB, while also providing support for the corporate ITSM platform. Initially, the individual will assist with operational data management and workflow analysis to gain an understanding of existing processes before driving automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess business analysis skills and an interest in automation, leveraging technologies to improve operational efficiency and modernize business processes.

 
Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership and govern the corporate CMDB.
  • Administer the enterprise compliance program.
  • Develop automation solutions using Python, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Support the creation of dashboards and reports.
  • Assist with operational data management and workflow analysis.
  • Provide support for the corporate ITSM platform.
  • Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications

Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Knowledge of database structures and operations.
 

Personal Attributes:

  • Demonstrates a growth mindset.
  • Communicates openly about areas for development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with ITIL concepts, including change and problem management; certification is a plus.
  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • Experience with dashboarding and reporting tools.
  • Experience with ITSM/CMDB platforms such as ServiceNow.
