Pay Rate / Range: $70-$80
Location: Redmond, Washington (Remote)
The primary function of this role is to transform complex data into trusted, actionable insights that improve operational performance and business decision-making. This role will analyze critical environment and operational datasets, validate data quality, automate manual processes, and develop dashboards and reporting tools. This position bridges the gap between data, operations, and business stakeholders by ensuring data is reliable and accessible.
- Partner with engineering, operations, program management, and leadership to develop reporting and analytics solutions.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform data quality assessments, validation, and verification activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Design, implement, automate, and maintain scalable data collection, transformation, and validation processes.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, KPI reporting, and self-service analytics solutions.
- Create data validation frameworks and monitoring processes to proactively detect and resolve data issues.
- Collaborate with technical teams to improve data models, metadata management, and data governance practices.
- Translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights for technical and executive audiences.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, standardization, and implementation of scalable reporting solutions.
- Support root cause analysis by leveraging data to identify drivers of performance issues.
- Document processes, methodologies, and data quality standards to ensure consistency and scalability.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience: 5–7 years of applicable experience in business intelligence, reporting, data quality management, or related analytical disciplines. Experience designing and implementing data quality validation, verification, and monitoring processes is required.
Technical Skills: Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using business intelligence tools such as Power BI or similar platforms. Experience automating manual processes using scripting, workflow automation, or data integration technologies. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills are necessary.
- Experience with telemetry, operational, engineering, IoT, industrial controls, or critical infrastructure data.
- Experience with data related to Data Centers and power distribution.
- Experience implementing automated data validation and exception management processes.
- Experience developing executive-level dashboards and KPI scorecards.
