Job Description:
Location: Columbus, OH or Charlotte, NC (Onsite)
We are seeking a Data Management Analyst to join a core banking team involved in a key enterprise initiative. In this position, you will act as a Feature Product Owner, responsible for writing feature-level acceptance criteria, serving as a communications anchor for stakeholders, and refining business requirements for the core banking platform team.
- Lead end-to-end data projects, from requirement gathering to solution delivery.
- Design and implement scalable data models, pipelines, and governance frameworks.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to map data ownership and usage.
- Provide thought leadership on data strategy, architecture, and emerging technologies.
- Mentor and guide other team members, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business, Technology, and Operations.
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
- Partner with architecture and engineering teams to define target-state data architectures.
- Digital product ownership experience.
- Knowledge of account ledger platforms, posting logic, transaction flows, and/or ledger system architecture.
- Experience delivering complex initiatives within Agile frameworks, using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience with real-time processing systems, microservices architectures, and event-driven solutions.
- Experience within financial services or other highly regulated environments, with an understanding of risk, control, and compliance considerations.
- Data modeling, data domain, or governance experience.
- Data mapping experience.
- Analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience with data quality.
- Familiarity with advanced data tooling.
- Data visualization skills.
- Banking domain experience.
