This session is designed to serve leaders and senior management who may serve as mentors. The spirit of this session is creating a culture of mentoring through recognizing and promoting the qualities of master mentors, identifying the roles and functions mentors play in the professional development of proteges, building the four developmental phases of effective mentoring relationships and capitalizing on the advantages of reverse mentoring (i.e., where the junior mentors the senior). Summary notes will be provided, assessment tools for measuring mentor qualities and skills, and recommended activities for promoting successful mentoring experiences and programs.
