Job Title: Ansible Engineer
Job Description: We are seeking a talented individual with a strong background in Ansible automation, AWS architecture and Terraform to join our team as an Sr. Ansible Cloud Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions using Ansible, Terraform for all AWS components. Our goal is to streamline the deployment process for teams by providing a robust infrastructure-as-code solution that allows seamless deployment of application code into the AWS GovCloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy Ansible playbooks.
- Collect requirements, analyze solution, and create recommendation and track Agile stories. - Work collaboratively with the other engineering team to create and deploy automation solutions
Administer Ansible infrastructure, perform maintenance and configuration and provide SME level support.
- Provide technical documentation, procedures, and technical support to Ops concerning automation solution usage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments for identified infrastructure.
- Update system documentation, diagrams and Standard Operation Procedures as needed.
- Design and implement AWS architecture using Terraform to support various applications and services
- Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth deployment and management of applications in AWS GovCloud
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules for infrastructure provisioning and configuration
- Work on Python and Golang development projects to enhance automation and efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with AWS services and best practices to optimize the infrastructure environment
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in AWS architecture and services
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Hands-on experience with Python and Golang development
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
 - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
