Position: Payroll Tester
 
Location: Charlotte, NC

1. 1-2 years of experience in Payroll Processing
2. Excel
   1. Mentioned: v-look ups, concatenate, distinct keys, pivot tables
3. Understanding of Payroll Testing (test scripts/ UAT testing)
4. Someone with HCM Application experience (Oracle or Peoplesoft preferred)

Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics:   This larger organization began an implementation of Oracle from PeopleSoft as their human capital management (HCM) system several months ago. This team has recently been tasked with UAT testing and data validation to ensure accuracy of what is converted from PeopleSoft to Oracle. The role will include comparing data and finding anomalies as well as physically looking into PeopleSoft to learn how a specific task, report or output translates over into Oracle. From there, the person will be responsible for verifying the proper data flow into Oracle. All UAT testing will be done in Oracle. Since the organization will be rolling an entire new platform enterprise-wide, this person should expect to help train other users.
