Implementation Specialist
Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening in the Online Retail space for a Majors Implementation Specialist  with experience delivering SaaS solutions to enterprise customers, strong problems solving ability and ability to create not just a project plan but solid solution to place at our client.
Start date: ASAP.
Location: Western Canada (travel required)

Job Description - Majors Implementation
-     Manage implementations for major retailers
-     Expectation is that up to 3 implementations could be carried out simultaneously
-     Update client’s documentation in preparation for weekly sync’s Google sheet/Smartsheet
[Ext] Weekly slide deck
-     Manage expectations with clients for any development work being completed as part of the implementation
-     Go onsite with clients where needed for kick offs, training, post live etc.
-     Report monthly progress on implementations to the team
-     Work with BD on retailer accounts that require support on both platforms
-     Update slack on a regular cadence with client activity

Minimum Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of experience implementation  warehouses, or similar (grocery, ecommerce, retail, or similar related experience preferred)
  • Strong project management skills and ability to independently drive zero-defect execution
  • Ability and willingness to creatively solve operational problems
  • Enterprise SaaS implementation experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Travel across North America required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Computer science education
  • Familiarity with implementing and optimizing omni-channel retail strategies and technologies in physical store locations
  • Project management experience
  • Technology background
  • API experience
