Job Title: Lab Technician- Operations
Contract Duration: 6+ months with the potential to extend
Rate Range: $25-$27/HR
Location: Branchburg, NJ (fully onsite role)
Job Requirements:

  • The ability to perform in an aseptic environment
  • Wear personal protective equipment, such as eye, foot, lab coat, mask, gowning coveralls under a Laminar Flow Hood
     
Responsibilities:
  • Performs PCR production and support duties for Operations ensuring the quality of production is completed.
  • Performs a variety of duties relating to production operations. Follows departmental work instructions, SOPs, OSHA safety regulations and cGMPs to perform assigned tasks.
  • Responsible for the completion of production batch records and logbooks with Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
  • Monitor and oversee lab supply inventory, generate internal order requisitions, depending upon area of assignment or primary focus, may maintain departmental stock rooms, and keep laboratories stocked.
  • Duties include the handling and movement of hazardous materials in an ECA environment.
  • Depending on assignment, activities will require the use of pallet jacks, ability to lift 50lbs, and movement of large production tanks.
  • Input production data and other work-output data into appropriate business systems (e.g. SAP) and maintain documentation in accordance with established procedures.
  • Demonstrates ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Demonstrates competence in reading and completing charts, forms, and other documents.
  • Ability to use personal computer with basic word-processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills highly desirable.
  • Interface with internal groups to assure laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration.
  • Reports room or equipment malfunctions to area supervisor.
  • Attends required training classes and participates in on-the-job training.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
