                                                            Data Analyst
Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening for a Data Analyst with 4+ years experience, a strong background in supporting project initiatives, knowledge in Six Sigma, Salesforce, and worked in an Azure to place at our client, a major Fleet management company.
Client: Fleet Management company
Terms: 6 months, possible extension
Location: Hybrid 3 days/week – Mississauga

Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for collaborating with senior leadership to determine and prioritize business strategies for a complex set of programs and critical initiatives and for maintaining alignment and identifying interdependencies between all program level work efforts
  • Collaborate with various business partners, cross functional teams, and key stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and on budget implementation of initiatives and business priorities
  • Work closely with business owners to define the desired business outcomes and articulate those in the program and project value statements
  • Develop and deliver executive level presentations, articulating the business objectives, project/program progress, challenges, and successes in meeting stated objectives
  • Provide end-to-end oversight and program management with responsibilities that include but are not limited to those tasks that are owned and influenced by this role
  • Recommends changes to departmental practices, business line processes, project solution options, etc. to ensure successful change implementation and business case realization
  • Facilitates cross team issues using communication mechanisms to break down barriers and gain consensus
  • Define project planning goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage projects that include cross-functional and matrixed individuals from development to execution
  • Reports to Dir and VP on progress of business initiatives on a regular basis
  • Ensure adequate communication is maintained between team members, departments and stakeholders regarding all activities, progress and priorities
  • Monitors programs to assure compliance to overall project plans, prioritize projects and tasks, and manage activities and resources to successful completion
  • Collaborate across internal and customer teams with key stakeholders and ensure the strategy and project plans are clearly communicated to all parties involved
  • Responsible for identifying deficiencies in team processes, providing resolutions and execute on resolution
  • Establish and monitor valuable metrics to inform decisions that maximize returns across enterprise projects and programs
  • Work with key stakeholders to enhance existing processes
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree required (Business, Finance, Strategy or Sales related field)
  • 5+ years of experience in supporting projects, initiatives, and people with senior-level relationship management (line & management)
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Knowledge in Salesforce and Azure
  • Strong process orientation, demonstrated resource management and allocation experience, and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communication and organizational skills at all levels in a company; robust interpersonal skills with evidence of teamwork and collaboration
  • Knowledge and exposure to Six Sigma, Lean, Project Management or other best practice frameworks
