Human Resources Generalist

Job Description:

Apex is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to be responsible for supporting the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, labor relations, employee relations, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the coordination of staffing and recruitment processes according to current and future operational needs.
  • Handling employee onboarding procedures, educating newly hired employees on HR policies, benefits, internal procedures, and regulations.
  • Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits, and attendance records
  • Use HR software to manage payroll and employee benefits, including bonuses, leaves, and conduct absences administration.
  • Coordinate with other HR professionals and Labor Relations Representative.
  • Support employees with efficient problem-solving when any human resources issues arise, generating official internal documents.

Required:
  • At least 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Experience in manufacturing facility
  • Labor Union knowledge is a plus
