Location: Eminence, KY (onsite)
Shift: 5 PM - 5 AM
Salary Band: 60-$80k/yr
Length: Perm/Direct Hire
Job Summary: The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our metal manufacturing facility. This role includes managing personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, monitoring production and quality control, and addressing any issues that arise. The Shift Supervisor will also be responsible for training and developing staff, as well as ensuring that all production goals are achieved in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of personnel involved in metal manufacturing operations.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Address and resolve any issues that occur during production.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols at all times.
- Train and develop staff to equip them with the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
- Maintain records of production output and other relevant data.
- Prepare reports on production performance for management review.
- Ensure that all production goals are met within the scheduled timeframe.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, Kaizen, Tier Board processes, etc.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
