Sr. Automation Tester

Job Description:

  CDO team needs a Sr. Test Automation Engineer (onsite) contracting role to be filled. This is a key role and will be instrumental in driving the CDO test automation strategy.
 
We want strong candidate who is self-driven, independent with right level of experience and skills. Should be able to communicate with all levels including leadership.
 
The Main focus for this candidate will be to support testing for CDO applications from design to delivery phase. Below are the high-level requirements that we are looking for in this candidate.
 
Overall 10yrs of experience with below required Experience:
  1. Manual testing (min. 8yrs)
  2. SQL testing (min. 5yrs)
  3. UI Automation using Selenium Web driver (min. 5yrs)
  4. API testing  (min. 3yrs)
 
Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for overall QA performance by establishing, documenting, and managing testing methodology.
  2. Drive the conversion of manual tests to automated whenever possible, supporting manual testing efforts while the transition is in process.
  3. Contribute to end-to-end user acceptance tests.
  4. Communicate issues, risks and scope impacting project/ticket execution and provide metrics as support.
  5. Self-starter to think about various risk and issues. Work closely with project teams (business and technical) to understand business processes and make testing seamless.
  6. Responsible for updating and maintaining test cases – and manages the scope of testing for a deliverable – including IT, UAT, Regression, System/Smoke
  7. Analyze Testing output and root cause analysis to provide feedback to improve system.
  8. Automated test development and test data creation.
  9. Proactive in diving deep into requirements and provide solid test coverage for the use cases.
