American Cancer Society
Apex has been a Partner Against Cancer since the American Cancer Society was adopted as our corporate philanthropy in 2009. The ACS was chosen to honor many members of the Apex family of employees, consultants, and clients who have been affected by cancer.
We have proudly raised over one million dollars for the ACS since our relationship began.
Giving Back to Our Communities
We have created a united front in the communities where our employees live and work. Our Quarter of Caring expands our support of local communities and organizations. Each office across North America coordinates events throughout the year with the fourth quarter designated as Apex's campaign. Employees are encouraged to donate and volunteer to support charities in their community. Apex provides employees with one day of paid leave per year to participate in philanthropic activities.
Children's Hospital of Richmond
ASGN and Apex Systems are partnered with the Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU as part of an ongoing dedication to local philanthropy efforts.
As a member of the hospital's Corporate Champions program, we will provide support to make a difference in the lives of hospital patients and families.
Gamers vs Cancer
Since October 2020, Apex has partnered with the American Cancer Society to host 11 Gamers vs. Cancer video game tournaments, raising over $15,000 in our fight against cancer.
We live stream all of our tournaments via our Apex Twitch account so that everyone can tune in and join the fun.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
At Apex Systems, we are proud to participate annually in the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event. This impactful movement raises vital funds that directly support breast cancer patients, survivors, thrivers, and caregivers through every phase of their journey.
The Responsible Business Alliance
We're a vendor partner of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), which is the world's largest industry coalition dedicated to corporate social responsibility in global supply chains.
Members gather and collaborate with peers and stakeholders to discuss social, ethical, and environmental challenges and meaningful solutions.
Grants for Good Program
Apex's Grants for Good program empowers our consultants and clients to nominate a nonprofit organization each quarter, advocating for causes close to their hearts. Through our National Charity Committee, we carefully select one nonprofit to receive a $1,250 donation, supporting their crucial mission within the communities we serve.
Supporting the IGDA Foundation
Apex is proud to support the IGDA (International Game Developers Association) Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals learn gaming skills and successfully transition into the gaming industry. Our commitment includes mentorship, panel discussions, financial contributions, and career resources to create opportunities for aspiring game developers.
