  • Hybrid Preferred (Office is located in Burnaby, BC)
  • Open to fully remote for the right candidate.  All proposed Candidates must be located in Canada. 
 
Project Description: 

The Clients Cloud Services Department is seeking a program/project manager to support a variety of projects within a growing cloud portfolio for various subsidiaries.  This manager will work closely with senior leadership, internal and external stakeholders to effectively deliver business results supported by technology solutions.
In this role you will:
  • Create plans that align with organizational and provincial roadmaps and drive project activities in line with business goals
  • Work with technical and business teams to address issues, manage risk and delivery value
  • Serve as a source of truth for project status from a cost, schedule and scope perspective

Services Required: 
As the IT Project Manager, your responsibilities will be:
  • Responsible for the coordination, execution, and completion for all aspects of the VPP M365 Adoption Program
  • Creation of executive level Briefing Notes, Business Cases and other management level collateral as required
  • Creation and maintenance of project reporting dashboards, KPI and project metrics
  • Collaborate with existing Project/Portfolio/Program Managers to create and maintain resource and budgetary forecasts
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of projects within program
  • Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the program
  • Prepare reports for management regarding status of projects/program
  • Lead and direct the work of others assigned to applicable program
  • Other assignments as requested

Specific Qualifications or Experience Required: 
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Program or Project Management related role
  • Proven experience with the principles of ITIL Incident Management, Project Management and Change Management
  • Working level engagement experience with diverse groups ranging from C Level, Senior Management, Business Units, Project and Technical Resources
  • Proven stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience facilitating and leading teams in programs
  • Proven experience with developing technology / security strategy for modern collaboration platform. 
  • Competency in business document management and creation platforms (Office, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to translate Cloud terminology and concepts for easy consumption by cross-functional stakeholders
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Possesses a high level of integrity, trustworthiness and confidence, and represents the organization with a high level of professionalism
  • Demonstrated sense of ownership and commitment and the capability to drive issues to closure
  • Highly adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced priority driven environment
  • Exceptional level of professionalism; personable, approachable, courteous
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skill
  • Ability to work independently to meet deliverables and solve problem
  • Self-starter, proactive and solution oriented
  • Ability to adapt to change and tolerate high stress levels
  • Experience working within the Health Authorities is highly preferred  
Must submit example work products to demonstrate written communications. All work products MUST have been created by the proposed consultant and be from a previous project. Note: all work products will be kept confidential and will only be used for interview process 
 
Constraints and Special Considerations:
  • Familiarity with BC Health Authorities including previous engagements for any BC Health Authority on a Project or initiative within the HealthBC Tenant
  • Previous experience with Exchange Online or Microsoft Teams rollouts / migrations

Seniority Level Descriptions: 
  •  Senior
    • An absolute minimum of eight (8) years of directly related Consulting Category experience.
    • A Certificate in Consulting Category related disciplines and a minimum of six (6) years of related Consulting Category experience; or
    • A Diploma in Consulting Category related disciplines and a minimum of five (5) years of related Consulting Category experience; or
    • A Degree in Consulting Category related disciplines and a minimum of four (4) years of related Consulting Category experience
