Job Description:
Overview:- Need Java and QA to supplement current mainframe dev
- Deploying on GCP but also AWS is in the data space
- Partner with front end channel partners/digital teams
- Mainly code in backend java
- Most applications are vendor based – its all from servicing perspective
- Biggest piece is the rest development
Development Methodology: Quasi agile
Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools):
- Java – all backend
- Rest APIs – looking for someone with strong rest API exp
- JSON
- Gitsource/Github
- Jenkins
- Spring framework (boot)
- Eclipse
- Kafka
- Cloud – ideally GCP
Nice to have:
- Maven
- Eclipse
Soft Skills:
- Ability to drive
- Problem solver
- Motivated
- Self-sufficient
- Ideally 7 years experience but can flex for strong candidate
