SR. MACHINE CABINET OPTIMIZATION ENGINEER
Contract Duration: Through December 31, 2024, possibility to extend for test validation into 2025
Location: Hybrid 3x a week (Tues/Weds/Thurs) at SEA

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
  • Evaluation of Robotics machine cabinets, with the ultimate goal of cost-optimization
  • Deep dive into machine drawings, how components are built, uninterrupted power supplies, and how to optimize the cost of the current machine cabinet design
  • Analyze/evaluate low-risk components of the machine cabinet, and how to cost-optimize the cabinet
  • Identify more cost-effective design processes and components in order to optimize (not fundamentally re-architecting the cabinet)
  • Working with cross-functional teams (hardware engineering, electrical engineering, etc.)

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
  • 8+ years experience in electrical engineering, specifically machine cabinet design
  • Knowledge of Eplan and PLM
  • Be trainable and moldable to learn Robotics proprietary tooling and services
  • Must be a hands-on engineer
  • Examples of project ownership and bias for action
