Job Description:

Daily Tasks:
  • SPC will be the change agent to help communicate and promote the adoption of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) across the organization.
  • As part of the Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) and working with the team to provide hands-on Agile training, coaching and mentoring teams and stakeholders.
  • Measure and set the organizations baseline of business agility.
  • Define a regular cadence to measure agility for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and refine best practices and processes to guide teams through Agile methodology to successfully transform the organization while following the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Implementation Roadmap.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to the LACE and project teams the agile principles and practices of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Provide continuous improvement of Agile processes, coaching, and mentoring of individual scrum teams, and facilitate coordination between teams as well as sharing process improvements across the program.
  • Capture feedback and continuously improve Agile guidance, template materials for evaluations.
  • Establish strong partnerships with the business stakeholders and team members to serve as a trusted partner during the transition to Lean-Agile principles and practices of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Actively listen to team members and leaders to understand their challenges and offer suggestions and/or examples to help them understand how to improve business agility.
  • Prepare the teams for launching Agile Release Trains (ARTs) o Help facilitate the retrospective reflection after development
     
What you will be working on:
To transform the way we deliver our customer products, we are currently seeking a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Practice Consultant (SPC) to join our change agents team. As an SPC, this individual will support the Agile Transformation by applying the principles and practices described in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The SPC will train, coach and mentor teams how to apply Lean-Agile methodology, DevOps, Design Thinking to improve efficiency and speed without affecting quality to deploy products to customers. The SPC assists in implementing agile techniques, facilitate team discussions, help Agile teams plan incrementally, and iterate their plans as we move towards agility and a growth mindset. The SPC will champion the company’s vision of the adoption of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). This individual will work with all levels to help the organization use Agile as a strategic asset of culture change and to foster our business values. The SPC will be responsible for facilitating meetings and reviews, coaching and training, assisting project/program managers, and departments for continuous improvement, ensuring agile development practices are followed and adjusted as needed.

Requirements:
  • SPC Certification
  • Experience in Lean Agile and Coaching
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Transformation

Nice to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 3 year using Agile methodologies
  • SPC Certification
  • Experience in information technology and Agile experience.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban
  • Project Management skills to lead, plan, prioritize and execute work efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for leading, actively listening, coaching, consulting, and resolving conflicts with people.
  • Highly motivated and customer focused
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Leadership skills required for exceptional planning, organizational, analytical, root cause analysis, problem solving and decision-making.
