Imaging Specialist
Job Summary
An Imaging Specialist is an administrative professional who is part of a team, which is responsible for the retention and storage of public records, documents, archives, and files. It requires an understanding of how to organize, catalog and index documents, in both paper and electronic form using multiple mediums such as scanning software and hardware, file management in Windows Explorer directories, Email repositories, and other document repositories.
Principle Responsibilities:  (Essential Function)
  • Assess and prepare physical or electronic documents to ensure quality images
  • Operate scanning equipment and perform minor equipment adjustments
  • Create, modify and maintain data indexes to ensure input quality and consistency
  • Retrieve imaged information as needed for operational purposes
  • Maintain appropriate files and records of imaged materials
  • Evaluate the quality and suitability of images in accordance with applicable standards
  • Adhere to content management key performance indicators (KPIs), policies and best practices
  • Keep statuses of assigned tickets updated appropriately

Job Requirements/Skills:
  • General knowledge of computers and Microsoft Outlook
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; follow oral and written instructions
  • Effectively communicate with team members and other business professionals
  • Eagerness to learn and be flexible to changes in processes and technology
  • Routinely meet Service Level Agreements and KPIs
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous administrative, clerical or similar office experience (required)
  • Previous imaging experience (preferred)

Other Requirements:
  • Must pass background and vehicle operation checks  
  • Physical demands: Ability to lift 20 to 30 lb paper boxes routinely
