Job Description:

Apex Systems has an opening for a PMP certified Sr. Clinical Project Manager for a healthcare client in Tennessee. This position is a 7 month contract, 100% remote opportunity. 

Our client is looking for someone with experience managing clinical IT projects (Clinical Point of Care device rollouts, System go lives, etc). Per client requirements, candidates for this position should hold an active PMP certification.  
 

Location: 100% Remote (Client Based in TN) 

Duration: 7 month contract- chance to extend.  

Shift: M-F 8-5pm (Expect CST/EST Hours) 

Compliance: Background check and drug test  

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Leads an interdepartmental project team to complete projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency. 

• Provides robust communication and status to stakeholders on a planned and reliable cadence 

• Decide on suitable strategies and objectives per the project scope. 

• Coordinate cross-project activities 

• Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities. 

• Apply change, risk and resource management 

• Resolve projects’ higher scope issues 

• Prepare reports for business partners and steering team committees 

• Identify, monitor and mitigate risk based on PMI standards 

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a project manager 

• Minimum 2 years of Clinical Healthcare PM experience. - Required

• PMP certified -required 

• Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods per the PMI standards. 

• Excellent Knowledge of risk and change management principles 

• Working Knowledge of ServiceNow and/or MS Project 

• Outstanding organizational skills 

• Excellent communication skills 

• Excellent problem-solving ability 

• BSc/BA diploma in management or a relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus.

            No exception

                                    Overarching managing all of these initiatives
                                                Must be done by end of year
                                                            Cannot afford to extend projects
Implementation before timeline is the key here
            83 million dollar fine if they do not
Cannot be hand holding AT ALL
Framework PMO 3.0
            Walk through that process initially but then they are by themselves
Could potentially extend to end of January
Regulatory programs, good knowledge of clinical apps in Med Host
Project Management minimum 7-8 years of experience
            5-7 of those being in clinical
Monitoring will also fall under them
Regulatory implementation for pharmacy one for clinician experience
Will be working with different departments
            Need to have that experience
For Leigh Ann’s Role:
Same type of background and experience
            Does NOT need all the med host specifics, though
Point of Care device project takeover
Two major programs where people will be moving around
Monitoring budget, track budget timelines
6 months for sure, could potentially extend
PMP certification is a must
Change Health Care is one of their vendors
            They have had to pause implementation
                        When they resume things are going to get super busy
This person will need to get up to speed immediately
