Safety Floor Manager
100% On site- Lemont, IL
Monday-Friday (No Overtime expected)
7am-4pm Central Time

Candidate must be a US Citizen. The proposed level will require demonstrated and or documented previous experience or expertise in construction safety of a commensurate scope.
Tasks and Delivery (Job Description)
Participation in the management of projects to support Client’s Safety Program. Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing safety programs and working with clients on specific projects to eliminate injuries and their associated costs, as well as meet all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Primary Responsibilities include:
  1. Safety Management (Required)
    • Duties/Responsibilities
    • Develop Client required safety documentation including Job Safety Analysis and Working Planning and Control documentation
    • Inspect all vendor tools and equipment
    • Attend Client safety training
    • Provide safety orientation to vendors
    • Observe work by vendors for conformance to safety requirements
    • Report safety incidents
    • Develop work control plans for system installations
    • Work with vendors to improve safety
    • Assist with accident investigations
    • Escort delivery trucks
  • Qualifications
    • OSHA 10-hour General Safety Training
    • Ladder Safety Training
    • Capable of presenting safety material to audiences
    • Confined Space trained
  1. Project Coordination (Required)
    • Duties/Responsibilities
  • Observe construction and develop progress reports
  • Monitor and track efforts of subcontractors
  • Provide input for project schedules, risks, resources, and project performance.
  • Document schedule of deliveries
  • Provide weekly summary reports to Project Director
  • Coordinate the delivery and installation of equipment with building engineers, vendors and Division staff
  • Coordinate vendor activities that require TCSB subcontractor assistance such as LOTO of the compute racks, shutdown of equipment for outages, and balancing of the water loop.
  • Facilitate meetings, agendas, and notes
  • Ensure data center is site ready in accordance with vendor’s delivery and installation requirements
    • Qualifications
      • Proficient with Microsoft Office
      • Experienced working on a (Apple preferred) computer, including proxying through firewalls and use of the SSH protocol
      • Organized
  1. Quality Assurance Receipt Inspection (Required)
    • Duties/Responsibilities
      • Inspect materials for counterfeit parts or items that do not meet the description
      • Record items delivered and report to Division Quality Assurance Representative (QAR)
      • Attend Client provided training courses for receipt inspectors
      • Complete required vision tests in accordance with Client procedures for receipt inspectors
    • Qualifications
      • Training in quality assurance and quality control inspection
      • Previous audit experience
      • Previous quality management experience
      • Experience working at an ISO-certified facility
      • Certification as a Quality Inspector by the American Society of Quality
  2. Facility Environment Management (Preferred)
    • Duties/Responsibilities
      • Monitor Aurora water process loop pressure, temperature, and flow and alert on issues
      • Monitor Aurora air cooling and alert on issues including dew point, humidity, and out-of-bound temperatures
      • Monitor Aurora electrical quality and alert on issues
      • Work with TCSB subcontractors on management of the power, cooling, space.
    • Qualifications
      • Knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, Hx, filtering, and water quality challenges
      • Knowledge of electrical systems, including breakers, fuses, and LOTO.
      • Interpret mechanical drawings
      • Interpret commissioning documents
  3. Qualified Electrical Worker (Ideal)
    • Duties/Responsibilities
      • Execute LOTO duties and procedures
      • Plug 208V & 480V power cords into their corresponding receptacles to help coordinate the integration of the system
      • Attend Client provided training courses for LOTO procedures, safety awareness, personal protective equipment, and NFPA 70E
    • Qualifications
      • Practical electrical background as a licensed electrician, electrical engineer, or equivalent
      • Trained in NFPA 70E Electrical and arc flash safety
      • Knowledge of the National electrical Code
      • Knowledge of power distribution systems including: 480V switchgear with rack out type power breakers, 480V, 208V, and 120V molded case breakers, step down transformers, electrical disconnects, and 208V/120V electrical panel boards.
      • Interpret single line diagrams, short circuit studies and electrical coordination studies
      • Familiar with breaker trip adjustments
