User Experience Researcher

Job Description:

We seek a User Experience Researcher to lead a team of designers working on innovative digital experiences. The ideal candidate will analyze customer behaviors, set up and lead research with internal and external users, identify opportunities to solve problems and create cohesive, best-in-class experiences for our customers. You and your team will define early concepts, collect VOB and VOC, articulate end-to-end experiences, and craft elegant design solutions to create a coherent user experience vision across customer journeys.
What You Will Do:
•       Lead the entire design process of our digital products & services, from initial research, ideation, conceptualization, and design, to testing and validation.
•       Plan and conduct primary and secondary research. Synthesize research, build insights, reframe problems, and provide recommendations that enable our teams to generate and iterate on new solutions.
•       Develop and articulate best practices for UX research within product development activities with product teams, stakeholders, and external partners
•       Be an integral member leading user research activities for our digital products and services, involved in initial discovery, ideation, conceptualization, and design, to testing and validation.
•       Apply Human-Centered Design and Service Design Thinking approaches to guide the discovery and production of low-fidelity and high-fidelity deliverables.
•       Plan and co-facilitate workshops internally and externally. Manage approaches that identify and solve complex problems.
•       Create project deliverables such as low and high-fidelity UI prototypes, design using a Design System, discussion guides for research, insights reports, and presentations, among other materials relevant to the client challenge.
•       Coordinate work activities with your digital team, business teams, and other IT services as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
•       Proven experience and knowledge in implementation and facilitation of the overall design process, using a variety of methodologies like Process Mapping, User Journey Mapping, User Story Mapping, Wireframing, UI prototyping, User Testing, etc.
•       Experience with industry-standard design and research tools (Adobe CC, Sketch, Figma, InVision, User testing, etc.…).
•       Experience designing, building, and managing a Design System across our eco-system of products and services.
•       Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to deal with ambiguity while juggling multiple priorities.
•       Experience with Agile and SAFe methodology for creating teamwork and analytics product. Fluent in Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.
•       Experience with creating a project vision, execution, and overall quality.
•       Experience planning and conducting user research and user testing sessions, including moderator guides to generate artifacts from synthesis.
•       Experience advocating a User Centric Design approach that helps understand our users needs, pain points, and desires.
•       Experience in designing responsive digital products, with a strong focus on mobile, both native and hybrid.
•       Experience with workshop planning and facilitation.
