Job Description:
Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE Mechanical Engineer for our client based out of Greensboro, NC.This assignment is anticipated to be a 6 month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment.
This will also have a first shift Monday-Friday schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with Seat / Controls ( Steering Wheel, pedals) development teams
- Working cross functional and with suppliers, execute studies and releases in Catia. Earlier seat development, Catia and kola experience is a plus.
- Lead a defined area of technical expertise
- Lead mechanical design engineering in a technical team
- Secure quality & readiness of products before release.
- Spread knowledge and develop competence within the team.
- Develop and Manage networking across the organization and provide inputs to the project pre-requisites based on the component history.
- Must have bachelor’s degree or higher with mechanical design experience
- Must have a holistic view on deliverables from other interfaces
- Strong networking and organizational skills
- Catia and kola experience is a plus
