A non-profit healthcare network streamlines contract management processes and improves data quality by implementing Infor Healthcare.

SITUATION ​

Our client needed a strategic partner to help standardize and streamline their existing contract management processes to optimize delivery of care. More than a decade ago, this client modernized its clinical and business systems and had kept up-to-date through upgrades and other process improvements. Key to the ongoing strategy was reducing dependence on third-party applications and taking advantage of capabilities built into existing investments. SOLUTION​

Our client was operating on Infor (Lawson) and had identified an improvement opportunity for the contract management process, but was not ready for the full-scale transformation the Infor CloudSuite offered. The contract management application within the Infor Healthcare solution afforded the client an introduction to the technology and a faster time to value. Our consultants met with client executives and IT leadership to develop a detailed project plan that included milestone and target deadlines to demonstrate incremental progress. In addition to process improvement, standardizing on Infor allowed the client to increase contract automation and free team members to spend time on valuable contract analysis and cost reduction opportunities rather than data entry. ​

RESULTS​

We successfully provided a cohesive project plan and drove the schedule to ensure the implementation was on-time and on-budget. Detailed documentation was critical to project success as was the availability of our consultants to answer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and share establish best practices from other engagements.
