A regional non-profit healthcare system integrates their ERP system to unify their organization after a large acquisition.

SITUATION

A long-time Infor client that was utilizing Lawson Financials and Supply Chain Management, Infor HRT, and Lawson Payroll as their ERP solution. This client had acquired a large national assisted living and senior care provider that utilized the same functionality on a deprecated and heavily customized version of Oracle PeopleSoft. Our client faced a large challenge integrating their nationwide healthcare service with those of their acquisition. Establishing a target architecture for a combined and integrated solution would form the cornerstone for managing their business moving forward as a combined service. Migrating from Oracle PeopleSoft Infor was a major change from a systems, business process, and personnel perspective. It was also a demanding organizational change management effort combining two stakeholder groups to align on a future unified process under a new Infor CloudSuite based model. 

Reduced total item master by 75% with full integration of two client systems

SOLUTION

The primary purpose of this project was to implement the Infor CloudSuite Finance and Supply Management (FSM), Human Resources Talent (HRT), and the Infor Lawson Payroll solution across the newly combined organization. The unified platform and business process would support the newly combined client enterprise. The secondary objective was to migrate the client’s on-premise Infor Payroll to the Cloud. The project team implemented Infor’s Global Financial Controller to facilitate integration between their newly implemented Infor FSM, Infor HRT, and Infor Lawson Payroll solutions. As the systems integrator, our team provided expertise advising and executing in overall strategy, integration, program and project management, configuration, build, end to end business process design, testing, end user training, and production support.

RESULTS

Our partnership created an integrated and streamlined process while also accommodating critical differences on an integrated multitenant Infor FSM / HRT platform and single tenant Infor Lawson Payroll solution. This enabled the client to have a much smoother transition to integrating their acquired business. In the process, we were able to reduce the client’s item master by 75%, which simplified their data processes.
