Our specialists were involved with everything from management, design, blueprinting, rollout, localization, and training activities for 18 countries

SITUATION

A world leader in the packaging industry wanted to streamline, simplify, and improve their business model by condensing their five business divisions down to 3: Home & Beauty, Food & Beverage, and Pharmaceutical. As part of their effort to reduce complexity and increase efficiencies, the client elected to move to a single instance of SAP™ software across their global platform. The client needed a partner to provide the right talent to help them achieve this goal.

SOLUTION

In support of the Client’s movement to a single instance of SAP™ across their global platform, we provided project team members over a three year period that assisted with their rollouts to the USA, Latin American and European as well as their Go-lives and on-going support.

Our team of approximately 78 specialists included business analysts, change and project managers, and functional experts experienced with SAP FI, CO, SCM, PLM, QM, MES, and data migration.

Our specialists were involved with everything from management, design, blueprinting, rollout, localization, and training activities for 18 countries including France, Germany, Italy, UK, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Japan, and India, as well as others in North and South America.  By successfully overcoming language, time zone, and distance barriers we directly contributed to the efficiency of the project over the course of the engagement.

RESULT

Our client achieved a simpler business model while capturing local requirements within a common platform for all 18 countries. Key elements in the project’s success were due to our extensive international access to experienced SAP professionals provided in support of the Client’s initiative and the stability and commitment of the consultants provided. As our Consultants remained engaged on the project for an average of two years, they provided a high level of continuity, business alignment, and knowledge transfer that helped keep the project moving forward to its successful delivery.
