- Contract Layout: Est. "6 Month Contract to Perm Hire"
- Contract Pay: $50.00 - $58.00 / Hourly Rate
- Starting Salary at Perm Hire: $110,000 - $120,000 + Benefits
*** REQUIREMENTS ***
- Secret Security Clearance (Will Upgrade to TS/SCI from Secret)
- Security+CE within 30 Days
- 5 Years of Windows Server / VMware Systems Administration or Engineering Experience
- Troubleshoot and Configure VMware Servers using vSphere
- Create scripts in various shells to automate daily and periodic tasks
Job Description
- Assists with daily operations and maintenance of enterprise Windows-based environments.
- Provides support with restoration efforts for unplanned system outages and service disruptions
- Assists various SMEs with task-oriented work while receiving OJT learning opportunities (VMware,
Exchange, SharePoint, MS SQL). - Performs software upgrades, patch installs, firmware upgrades
- Performs incident resolution for Tier 3 requests
- Diagnosis and troubleshoot problems related to the OS, hardware, network, and related software
